Boiler and HRSG Tube Failure Root Cause Analysis & Repairs
Training Course
10 hours online/ 2 days face to face
The target audience for the Boiler and HRSG Tube Failure Root Cause Analysis & Repairs seminar includes:
Maintenance Engineers: Engineers responsible for diagnosing and repairing boiler and Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) tube failures.
Boiler Operators: Individuals managing the operation of boilers and HRSGs who need to understand tube failure mechanisms and preventive measures.
Plant Maintenance Managers: Managers overseeing the maintenance and reliability of boilers and HRSG systems within power plants or industrial facilities.
Reliability Engineers: Professionals focused on improving the reliability and longevity of boiler and HRSG components.
Metallurgists: Experts analyzing material failures in boiler and HRSG tubes, involved in root cause analysis.
Inspection and Testing Personnel: Technicians and engineers conducting non-destructive testing and inspections of boiler and HRSG systems.
Power Plant Engineers: Engineers working in power generation who need to understand the failure mechanisms and repair strategies for boiler and HRSG tubes.
Technical Consultants: Advisors providing expertise on the maintenance, repair, and optimization of boiler and HRSG systems.
Health and Safety Officers: Professionals responsible for ensuring safety standards in the maintenance and repair of high-pressure steam systems.
This seminar is ideal for professionals involved in the operation, maintenance, and repair of boilers and HRSG systems, particularly those tasked with diagnosing and resolving tube failures to prevent costly downtime and ensure safe operation.
This seminar is primarily intended for Asset Managers and O&M personnel but will be useful for almost anyone working with thermal power plant steam generators (radiant boilers, CFB units, HRSGs….) While steam boilers and HRSGs have generally high reliability in pressure parts including tubes, piping and headers, failures do occur and determining the root cause can be difficult. In many cases by the time leaks are evident, damage to the tubes, tube panels and tube modules can be widespread. Repairs can at times require complete replacement of entire tube modules. These require advance planning and procurement to be done successfully. Extensive repairs and replacements can also be required due to defects in fabrication, construction and commissioning or from accidents such as fires and explosions. Our expert has supported plant owners, operators and others in these major events for many years. He supplied forensics, engineering oversight, due diligence, factory and erection oversight and support for owners in disputes worldwide. This seminar will be presented by experienced instructor in all these areas.
